Rakta Charitra II ,Guzaarish: Clash Of The Exes And Life

Published on

October 27, 2010 : Rakta Charitra had run into major controversies and had been touted as the most violent and brutal film in the history of Hindi films, but still it has managed to create quite a stir in the box-office. Vivek Oberoi gets back to his mentor Ram Gopal Verma and both of them once again does what both are best at, making an underworld, political, and gangster film. Now the second part of this saga will be hitting the screens on Nov’ 19, the same day as Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s  Guzaarish will hit the theaters.

Once again, Bhansali is teaming up with the muse of his films Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after Devdas and will also have Hrithik Roshan in the lead. The film also marks the debut of Bhansali as a music director. So 19th November will just not be the clash of the two major films but also the exes – Aishwarya and Vivek and even two film makers who have often taken pot-shots at each other.

But more than all these the 19th will be the clash or portrayal of the stories of two different lives who are fighting to stay alive. Both trying to make things right in their own way and according to their own believes, which might not conform to the laws of the society, both the films will tell you the story of two individuals who have zest for lives.

While Guzaarish might take the polished, elegant, upscale and opulent style to tell a story of a paraplegic magician, Rakta Charita II will continue with the saga of Paritala Ravi. RGV’s film will be anything but polished and elegant, it surely promises to be violent and gory but that is life too.  So who do you think will make it large at the box-office?

  1. First of all we have to keep this in mind before we talk any thing about Rakth Charitra (1 and 2)….The objective of making this movie is to reveal the truth to people, to know what happening behind, it is very clear from RGV’s statements as he has been saying … “this movie is for men in women and not for women in men”, not for children…etc.. if RGV’s objective is collection then he wd never say this openly… finally what i want to say here is dont compare RC with any picture with ref. to collections as it does not comes under that category at all…
