India’s very own drama queen and the undisputed queen of reality shows – the dramatic Rakhi Sawant soon to be seen on Imagine once again in a new avatar, was all praises for the latest entrant to the Bollywood drama scene – Desi Shakira aka Rituu Sachdev.
This reporter met Rakhi who is preparing for her show Rakhi ka Insaaf at a shoot and quizzed her about Rituu Sachdev aka Desi Shakira and her album Waka Waka se Chaukaa Chakkaa. Quipped Rakhi, “Shakira is a very good dancer and singer and it is very difficult to mimic or imitate her. She (Rituu Sachdev) has done a good job. I think the concept of a Desi Shakira is terrific. I am a bit jealous too; she is really a good dancer.”
“Usne (Rituu Sachdev) toh Shakira ki solid nakal ki hein us video mein. She is really good,” said Rakhi emphatically, referring to the Twilight Films produced video Waka Waka se Chaukaa Chakkaa.
Rakhi was ecstatic about her appearance on the popular entertainment channel Colours in their premier show Bigg Boss 4. She performed alongside Salman Khan and also asked him if he would play Jesus Christ in a film opposite her. Salman was dumbstruck and didn’t know what to say. For once, the Badshah of bollywood was without an answer. Rakhi Sawant and Ravi Kishen performed to the popular track from Dabaang, “Munni badnaam hui” and even got Salman Khan to groove with her.
