Right now, I am happy being away from Social media: Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor who is currently busy with promotions of biopic ‘Sanju‘ said even though he might consider social media in future, right now he is happy being away from it.

Ranbir along with director Rajkumar Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and co-stars, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Vicky Kaushal were present at the trailer

Ranbir is one of the few actors who prefers to stay away from social media sites like Twitter. When asked if he thinks taking part will help promote the film more he said, “I don’t think so, film is different and on social media, I would be showing myself. Of course, you have a reach to a larger audience but I don’t miss it and I don’t mind being away from it.

Never say never, maybe tomorrow I will come but right now I am happy being away from it.”

Ranbir who has been shooting for Sanju since past one year was asked how much difficult was it to become Ranbir Kapoor again, he said, “It wasn’t that difficult because I immersed myself into a different project named ‘Bhramastra’. This happens a lot with the actor when they are promoting one film they are already shooting for another so I am already in another character right now. So thankfully it was smooth for me.”

Asked if he is open to working in another biopic, after ‘Sanju’ if offered the chance Ranbir said, he’d be happy to do it, “Any story that inspires whether it is a biopic or fiction, as long as there is a story to be told I would love to be a part of it.”

So please do want the film in the theater.”

The Sanjay Dutt biopic titled ‘Sanju’ is presented by Fox star studios. The film will star Manisha Koirala, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Tabu and many more.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, ‘Sanju’ will release on 29th June 2018.
