After unveiling a hilarious teaser of “Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi” – the makers are out with first look poster of the film featuring Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal.
In the teaser, we saw a bitter-sweet rivalry between folks from two different Indian backgrounds in “Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi” and now comes the first look poster, which Rishi Kapoor think will make for a enjoyable movie watch.
Rishi Kapoor released the first look poster on social media. He wrote, “I think this will be very enjoyable. Sanjay Chehl directs Vir,Payal,Prem Chopra,Paresh Rawal and me.”
Actor turned politican Paresh Rawal also wrote about the poster. He captioned it, “#PatelKiPunjabiShaadi mein aapka swagat hai! Trailer out tomorrow. Here’s the official poster.”
The trailer of “Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi” will be out tomorrow. As the name suggest, the movie is an epic tussle between Gujarati and Punjabi culture.
Hasmukh Patel (Rawal) who is an “uncool” Gujarati, and Googi Tandon (Kapoor) who is a staunch drunkard, can’t stand the sight of each other and are always on their toes to pick on each other.
Amid all this chaos and rivalry, their children fall in love and plan to get married. Das plays Kapoor’s son (the Punjabi) and Ghosh (supposedly plays Rawal’s daughter – the Gujarati).
Produced by Bharat Patel and Kalapi Nagada, the film is written and directed by Sanjay Chhel. The movie is slated for 15th September 2017 release.
