On Sridevi's 60th birth anniversary, Saira Banu fondly remembers and praises her unparalleled contributions to cinema.

Bollywood’s celebrated actress, Saira Banu, took a moment to honor the legendary Sridevi on what would have been her 60th birthday. Through her art and dedication, Sridevi left an indelible mark on the world of cinema.

Expressing her sentiments, Saira turned to her Instagram Stories. She posted a poignant throwback image of Sridevi and the late renowned actor, Dilip Kumar. Accompanying the nostalgic picture, Saira penned a heartfelt message: “Recalling the radiant and poised Sridevi on her special day. Her cinematic craft truly enriched our film industry.”

The day was brimming with emotions. Sridevi’s husband, filmmaker Boney Kapoor, and their daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, too, shared touching tributes. Boney uploaded a collection of memories featuring him with Sridevi. He captioned it with a simple “Happy Birthday” accompanied by an array of heart emojis.

The budding actress, Khushi, who’s gearing up for her debut in the anticipated film ‘Archies’, shared her affectionate note, stating “Happy Birthday Mama” and adding a tender-hearted emoji.

Meanwhile, Janhvi, fresh off her role in ‘Bawaal‘, shared her father’s touching tribute on her own Instagram Stories. Google, not one to be left behind in celebrating global icons, honored the actress with a beautifully crafted doodle.

The world of Bollywood still feels the void left by Sridevi’s untimely passing in 2018 from a cardiac arrest. She was just 54, but her legacy continues to inspire and resonate with fans globally.
