Salman Khanâ??s Dabangg Steals The Show At Big Star Entertainment Awards

December 22, 2010 : The biggest blockbuster of the year- Dabangg starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha has managed to grab five trophies at Big Star Entertainment awards. The Big Star Entertainment awards were launched in a joint effort by Reliance Broadcast Network and Star India. The Big Star Entertainment awards will take the initiative to crown the best in the entertainment industry ranging from music, movies, television and sports.

The award night was held on Tuesday night and Salman starrer ‘Dabangg’ stole the show. The film bagged trophies for best film, best actor, best director, best entertaining song for the famous item number ‘Munni badnaam hui’. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was the chosen one as the best male singer for the song ‘Mast mast do nain’.It was a star studded event as the announcements in various categories were made by celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Tina Ambani and Sushir Mishra and others. 

Salman Khan received an award for the most entertaining film actor while Dharmendra became the chosen one for the ‘Big Star entertainer’ for his 50 years of contribution to Bollywood. Big Star Entertainment awards will be telecast on December 31 on Star Plus. So do not forget to catch all the action.
