More and more Bollywood biggies are turning towards the television, a trend started off by Amitabh Bachchan. Stars like Shah Rukh, Hrithik, Salman are now ruling in shows for various television channels. According to a poll conducted by eMap in six metros, Shah Rukh’s game show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? is getting the maximum TRP.
While Hrithik Roshan‘s Junoon – Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka received 0.82% and Salman Khan‘s Dus Ka Dum got him a TRP of 1.65%. Hrithik is currently working as the goodwill ambassador for his musical reality show and Salman is tempting the audience with his sense of humor and a prize money of 10 crores. Both these shows started on 6th June.
Shah Rukh’s show had got a TRP of 2.7% on the day it started, i.e., April 25. Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? has been based on Are you Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?. The show had slowed down in the weeks when IPL fever was on but now it is again picking up the TRP and is getting about 3.5%, while DKD is getting about 2.6% and Junoon is getting about 1.1%.
King Khan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 had done much better than the three current shows. It had a peak of about 4.9% TRP.
