Imtiaz Ali who was present at the HT Stylish Awards 2018 on Wednesday in Mumbai, during interaction said, he and Shahid are looking forward to working together.
Shahid and Imitaz were last seen working together a decade ago on the blockbuster ‘Jab We Met’ when asked when they will work together Imtiaz said, “Shahid and I want to do a film together and hopefully, we will.”
When asked why are they keeping the project a close secret the director said, “these things are announced only during the fine print is done, which is why we are not talking about it yet. This is not a secret project or anything, it’s just that we watch to go through the process first. We cant make a statement until we finalize everything but we both want to do a film together.”
Both Shahid and Imtiaz did ‘Jab We Met’ at the beginning of their careers and the makers recently celebrated 10 years of release.
Shahid’s latest release ‘Padmaavat’ is in theaters while his next in making is Batti Gul Meter Chalu is being directed by Shree Narayan Singh.
Imtiaz Ali’s last directorial ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal‘ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma failed to impress the audience at Box office.
