Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are on could nine as Kabir Singh hits so close to 100 crore club in one week’s time. Shahid excited for the box office collection of the film shared a BTS moment which best explains his reaction to the numbers.
Shahid’s new release Kabir Singh became the talk of the town whether for its collection at the box office or, the misogynistic comments and aggressive reviews it has been receiving. However the star hasnt let it phase him and he is enjoying all the success. He shared a picture with wide eyes and goofy faces and captioned it as, “These weekend numbers got us all like ? #kabirsingh ”
Kabir Singh became the 4th biggest opener and earned Rs 70.83 crore in its opening weekend and on Monday, it later collected over 12 crores taking the number to a total collection so far to Rs 82.83 crore. The film has also been marked as Shahid’s biggest opener leaving behind, Ranveer Singh– Deepika Padukone starrer, Padmaavat.
Released in 3123 screens in India the film was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
