Since the beginning of his career, Shahid Kapur has been compared to SRK. The lad has undoubtedly given solo hits like ‘Vivah’ and ‘Jab we Met’, but superstardom of the SRK and Akki kinds has eluded him!
He’s trying hard to come out of King Khan’s shadow but to no avail.
Reportedly Shahid is miserable once again about comparisons being drawn between him and SRK!
The buzz is that the actor was miffed when he came across a promo of his forthcoming film ‘Paathshala’ directed by Ahmed Khan while switching channels!
He found out that the movie was promoted with the statement “Shahid Banne Chala Shah Rukh”.
Apparently a fuming Shahid called up Ahmed Khan and ordered him to stop such irritating teasers and also ensure that no such thing happens in future.
Shahid is playing a teacher in the movie and probably that’s why the makers decided to promote the movie so. Or maybe it had something to do with Shahid being inspired by SRK greatly from day one!
Whatever the case may be, Ahmed Khan isn’t really expected to make very intelligent decisions, what with two senseless movies like ‘Lakeer’ and ‘Fool and Final’ behind him.
Currently Shahid hates comparisons with anybody as he’s trying to be a superstar in his own right! Well, looks like he’ll have to put in loads of hard work and need more luck for the same!
