Actor Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty, confirms the “Gama” show which is based on legendary wrestler Gama Pehalwan.
Salman Khan’s maiden venture as Producer will be the tale of one of the legendary wrestlers Gama Pehalwan for Star Plus. The show has been in the headlines for the last few weeks, as the casting process is on for this big-budget show.
After roping in his actor brother Sohail Khan for the titular role of Gama, Salman has brought in a good line-up of experience into the show. Aarav Choudhary and Priya Bathija will play Gama’s parents.
Now popular actor Mohammad Nazim will play Gama’s younger brother, confirms the actor himself.
“I have a new show coming out soon. It is titled Gama, I am prepping for it right now. It is with Sohail Khan. It is about the story of Gama Pahalwan, it is based on his legacy. I am playing the younger brother of Gama wrestler; it is a limited series television show. It will release next year. So let’s see, hope for the best” said Mahaakshay Chakraborty on the sidelines of Bruce Lee 77th Birthday celebration.
Mahaakshay, who is fondly known as Mimoh has featured in movies Jimmy, Haunted, Loot.
Mahaakshay, being an action hero, also added that though he like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Tony Jaa, his personal favorite is Tiger Shroff and he is a huge fan of the young actor.
“I am huge action movie fans and apart from my dad (Mithun Chakraborty), I think Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Tony Jaa are people I like a lot. But in our lot, in Bollywood, I think in this current generation Tiger Shroff, he is superb, whether we talk about his gymnastics, martial arts, and his style, I think I am a big fan of him” added Mahaakshay.
