Sexy and glamorous actress Shradha Sharma recently shot an item song for a Kannada film on one of the most expensive sets made especially for the purpose. The song for the film Jeeva was picturised at the Abbaiah Naidu Studios.
With the successful canning of the song, the shooting for Jeeva which features Prajwal Devaraj in the lead was completed last week, said Shradha who was thrilled to be shooting something exclusive and different.
The specially created set made with 40,000 beer bottles cost well over Rs 25 lakh – one of the most expensive sets made for an item song in a Kannada movie.
According to Shradha’s publicist Flynn Remedios, this feat qualifies for an entry in the Limca Book of Records. “The empty and used beer bottles were brought in from Tamil Nadu and other neighboring areas and were cleansed thoroughly to remove any odor and then chemically treated to give them a sparkling, glittering look.
So impressive was the set that after the shooting was completed, locals queued up to have a dekko. Some people even came in from neighboring towns to have a look as the news of the feat spread,†explained Flynn Remedios.
The film set that caught everyone’s fancy was designed by Art Director Mohan Kere, said Producer Paramesh, adding that though the film has been completed it will be released only after the cricket and election fever has died down.
