Sonam Kapoor who turned 34 this year had a family midnight celebration with close friends and family at midnight alongside Anand Ahuja, dad Anil Kapoor, sister Rhea Kapoor, Anupam Kher and designer Masaba Gupta were among family members and more who were spotted at the party.
Pictures from the celebrations surfaced online that show the husband-wife in all back outfits, Sonam can be seen cutting a cake surrounded by the family. The also clicked a group photo with everyone present at the venue. Anil Kapoor also shared a special message tweet for Sonam he wrote, “Happy Birthday, @sonamakapoor! I can’t tell you how incredibly proud we are of you! You have grown into such an exemplary human being & all we can do is stare in awe & feel inspired. Just like every year, this too will be your year in new & exciting ways! Never change! Love you!”
Whereas Anand also shared a celebratory photo online with a caption “#girlfriendforever#everydayphenomenal … Happy Birthday to my ???.”
Sonam was last seen in the Shelly Chopra Dhar’s directorial debut Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and will be seen next in Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor.
Sonam is currently shooting for the film. The Zoya Factor is based on a book on the same name by Anuja Chauhan. Sonam will be seen a Zoya Solanki — a girl who becomes a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team during World Cup 2010 and Dulquer Salmaan will be her love interest. The Zoya Factor is scheduled to release on September 20.
