June 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Ra. 1 is surely a unique movie in the making. The movie has created a lot of buzz since the time of its conception. The movie, which features Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor, is produced by Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
The movie belongs to a science-fiction cum superhero category with all the spices of a usual Bollywood flick. The film is scheduled to release in 2011 and is being directed by Anubhav Sinha. Currently, the shoot of this movie is going on.
The flick reportedly has many stunts in it, which are going to be performed by Shah Rukh Khan. There have been regular posts about the movie on his social networking web page.
Recently, Shah Rukh uploaded a picture on a web site about the camera set up for the shoot of a scene. In SRK’s words, filming for Ra. 1 has been a “painful and gainful experience.” He is also highly impressed by the way the unit is working on the flick.
SRK further posted,
“Yes Ra. 1 is a kind of ‘sci-fi meets superhero and genie in the bottle’ genre but shrouded in a typical fun filled happy Hindi film.”
