Actor Anil Kapoor hosted screening of Amazon Prime Originals series ‘The Grand Tour’ on Saturday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Anil Kapoor stated that story of Race 3 is different from its previous two parts.
Anil Kapoor recently started shooting of ‘Race 3’ which also features Salman Khan. Anil Kapoor is the only actor who has featured in all parts ‘Race’ series and there were reports that Anil Kapoor is playing father of Salman Khan in ‘Race 3’, when asked about the same, Kapoor said, “I don’t have problem with it, I am also ready to play role of Amit ji’s father (Amitabh Bachchan) as I am an actor. I have signed non-disclosure clause so I won’t be able to give much details of the film but all I can say is that, I have been part of both Race films earlier but ‘Race 3’s story is very different having said that, I think all elements of previous part of ‘Race’ are intact in this film as well for audience entertainment.”
Talking about Sanjay Dutt biopic which features his daughter Sonam Kapoor, he said, “I am very excited to see anything what Raju Hirani does. So far whatever films he has made are simply outstanding. He makes his movies from heart and I feel if filmmaker does his work from heart, works on his script and each department, then film always does well. So for me, Dutt biopic is more about Raju Hirani and of course Raju Hirani and Vinod Chopra is lethal combination. Now, I am doing film with both of them. I have earlier worked with Vinod Chopra so I am sure Dutt biopic will do well and Sonam has done very small cameo in it but she is a part of a film where there are good people involved so I am very excited”
Talking about his son Harvardhan Kapoor upcoming film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’, senior Kapoor said, “Harsh’s next film ‘Bhavesh Joshi’ is releasing on May 25. Again I am excited for that film as well because I am big fan of Vikramaditya Motwane. I have seen both of his earlier films and both of them were brilliant. I can only say that the film is good and I am looking forward to it”
Anil Kapoor next will be seen with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Fanney Khan’, so when asked him about his experience working with Aishwarya Rai after ‘Taal’, Kapoor said, “I always had good relations with everybody. And I had great experience working with Aishwarya in this film as well. Yesterday, I finished shooting of my portions for the film and now ‘Fanney Khan’s shoot has been complete from my side. I think shooting of 2-3 songs is remaining of the film”
Bollywod celebrities Amit Sadh, Saiyami Kher, Natash Suri, Atul Kasbekar, Ronit Roy, Darshan kumar, Armaan Malik, Neha Sharma, RJ Malishka, Angad Bedi, Gaurav Kapoor, Norah Fatehi , Pooja Hegde and Sapna Pabbi attended screening of ‘The Grand Tour’.
