Suceess of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha will benefit me in my career says Divyendu Sharma

Actor Divyendu Sharma attended song launch of his upcoming film ‘2016 The End’ on Wednesday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Divyendu stated that success of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha will benefit in his career.

Divyendu Sharma has worked in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Chashme Baddoor but still hasn’t able to cement his place in Bollywood but recently, Divyendu played Akshay Kumar’s younger brother in Toilet – Ek Prem Katha which has been biggest hit of 2017, when asked Divyendu whether success of Toilet – Ek Prem Kath will help in his career, to that, he said, “If you are part of big commercial film which is hugely successful so it definitely helps to boost your career because it has greater reach in terms of people watching it. I really hope that being part of Toilet – EK Prem Katha will benefit me in future but more than that I really enjoyed working in that film”.

Talking about success of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, he said, “I have received many compliments for my character in the film. It feels really nice. As an actor, you try to better your performance so that audience will like it. Our film has made really good business so all in all its very good feeling”

Talking about his upcoming film 2016 The End, he said, “I always try to play different character with my each film. This film is very light hearted and funny but in this film, audience will be able to see different kind of shades in my character. My character doesn’t get along with his parents and he is very cunning. He is go to man for anything in this film. We have worked really hard in this film and I had fun working on this film so I hope audience will also have fun while watching the film”.

Talking about his future projects, Divyendu said, “I am doing an Indie drama film. It’s very different kind of film named ‘Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau’. There are other projects as well on which I will start working form September end.

‘2016 The End’ revolves around a single line concept that ‘what will you do if the world will end in next 7 days’. The film’s story is about four close friends who somehow come to know the world is going to end in 7 Days.

It stars Divyendu Sharma, Narendra Jha, Kiku Sharda, Priya Banerjee, Harshad Chopra and Rahul Roy in lead role.

It is directed by Jaideep Chopra. It is releasing on 6 October, 2017.
