On Tuesday, Tamannaah Bhatia attended 4th NRI of The Year Award by Times Now along with Sana Khan, Sophie Choudry, Indian billiards and snooker player Pankaj Advani, Terence Lewis and Karan Tacker in Grand Hyatt , Mumbai. Tamannaah is one such actress who basically belongs to Mumbai but she has smoothly worked in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films over the years and She feels that now lines between cinematic language is blurring.
Talking about her future projects after acted in hugely successful film Baahubali, she said, “After Baahubali, it is important to me to do films that excite me. This year, I have Hindi film titled ‘Khamoshi’ which is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Prabhu Deva is acting in it. Apart from that, I am doing a Tamil film Sketch starring Vikram and untitled Telugu film which directed by Kunal Kohli starring Sundeep Kishan so what I loving about this phase of my career is that I am able to work in different film and that to in different languages. I feel lines between cinematic languages is blurring. People wanting to watch good films and now regional cinema is accepted in such way that I think it’s a great time.”
Tamannaah’s chemistry with Prabhas was widely appreciated by the audience, so when asked about her pairing with Prabhas again in future projects, she said, “I really hope that I work with him again. Prabhas is an amazing actor and most importantly he is amazing friend. It would be my pleasure and fun process again to collaborate with him on a film and I am sure till then he will continue to create cinematic magic”.
Tamannaah also talked about receiving special award Baahubali team received at the event, she said, “I am really happy and proud that Baahubali has received global impact award at the award function because this is once in a lifetime opportunity where you get a film which influences people way beyond a film. Baahubali became like maniac so being part of franchise like that is a really amazing experience and so there couldn’t be better feeling for receiving award for such outstanding film. I am thankful to Times Now and this award is truly deserved by entire Baahubali team who worked so hard for so many years to make such amazing film”.
Tamannaah also condemned attack on Amarnath pilgrims carried out by terrorist on Monday, she said, “It is really sad. I feel, if there is any kind of terrorism in any places doesn’t make any sense. It’s really tragic and terrible to even hear of it. I was in London last time when it happened there. Everywhere in the world, the situation seems to be the same and in the end innocent people gets affected. I feel really bad that, we can’t do anything beyond condemning these cowardly acts executed by terrorists.”
