Actress and model Sophie Choudry visited Zest 2.O for a fitness event to promote her healthy product fitTOX – 30 Day Teatox on Saturday in Mumbai. During media interaction, Sophie said that she wanted to help people to lose body weight in healthy and natural way through fitTox.
When asked Sophie how she came up with the idea to create a product like ‘fitTox, she said, “Most Indian lead very unhealthy lifestyle. We don’t have clean air. Most of us don’t find the time to work out regularly or eat good, clean food but everyone wants to detox and become healthy and they don’t have idea about it. They feel that if they stop eating or just consume juices for 2-3 weeks then they will lose their body weight. But it’s really bad for your system because the minute you start eating normal food you again gain your weight so the whole idea of fitTox is to create product which will help people to lose their body weight naturally. In India, people are fond of tea and plus we have ayurveda but unfortunately we don’t make use of it as compared to foreigners so we wanted to blend those two things – tea and Ayurveda to give people the option to cleanse their body and to help them to lose weight in very healthy and natural way”
Talking about response for her product ‘fitTox’ from common people and Bollywood celebrities, Sophie said, “I am very proud of it. It’s an ayurvedic detox tea which we launched in the beginning of December last year. My partners Gaurav and Hansika came to me as they wanted me to be the brand face but I loved the idea so much that I wanted to become a partner. It’s only been a few months but it’s been so exciting to get positive response from everyone. Everyone right from Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sunny Leone, Malaika Arora, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover has been talking and posting about it on social media so it’s amazing to see its results and we are really happy to be here at Zest 2.O because it’s the first event that has been powered by fitTox”
When asked Sophie measures to lead a healthy lifestyle, she said, “I am Punjabi girl who has fond of eating but I keep myself fit by keeping everything in moderation. Fortunately, I don’t like fried food so I avoid that. I don’t have sugar in my diet unless I really feel like having some sweet dish then I have it. I stick to egg-whites, lot of salads, grilled chicken and tofu. After 6 in the evening I avoid consuming food which has carbohydrates in it because it gets difficult for your body to digest. By and large I like to clean and healthy so I eat lot of vegetables and salads”
