Truth is told in Sanju, Says Actor Sanjay Dutt

Actor Sanjay Dutt praises Ranbir Kapoor, who played the titular role in Sanju, saying that Ranbir is extraordinary and Sanju is depicting the truth.

Sanjay Dutt graced the trailer launch of his upcoming action drama movie, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. During the media interaction the actor was asked about Ranbir Kapoor, who played the role of the actor in his biopic Sanju, the senior actor Sanjay Dutt was all praises.
He said, “Ranbir Kapoor is extraordinary in the film. I think the film is fantastic. I think Rajkumar Hirani and Vicky Kaushal, the entire team has done a fantastic job. The film has only shown the truth”
After Kaante And Agneepath, actor Sanjay Dutt is once again playing a grey character in the third installment of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. The actor also talked about his role, preparation and shoot.
Talking about preparing for the role, Sanjay Dutt said, “There was no preparation; I did what Tigmanshu Dhulia told me to do. They created this Gangster in the franchise, so they know what they want. I didn’t prepare that much; I just followed Tigmanshu’s instruction”
“The process of the shoot was really comfortable. All thanks to Raju ji and Rahul. There was no tension, I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot”
Sanjay Dutt also admitted that thoroughly enjoyed shooting for the film because he doesn’t sign a film with people with whom he is not comfortable. He said, “I wouldn’t do the film if there is no comfort level. Like my filmmaker just said, it is an emotional role, and for love, he goes to extreme lengths, so this is an important part of this gangster. So I thoroughly enjoyed doing this film”
The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, also starring Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill, Chitrangada Singh, Soha Ali Khan, Kabir Bedi and Nafisa Ali in pivotal roles.
The film releases on 27th July 2018.
