Twinkle Khanna recently shared a picture on social media of a man defecating on city beach, which has caused quite a storm on digital space but the actress stands her ground unapologetically.
Akshay Kumar Starrer “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” addressed a major issue in our society – Open Defecation. Superstar’s wife Twinkle Khanna also addressed the stark reality of the issue by sharing a picture of a man defecating on a city beach.
She captioned the image as, “Good morning and I guess here is the first scene of Toilet Ek Prem Katha part 2.” In another tweet, she said, “Exactly! The public toilet is a 7-8 minute walk from this particular spot.”
Post her tweet, a lot of her followers were unhappy and she was trolled on the social media. But, Twinkle is unapologetic about her tweet and shared the same picture again. She wrote, “1. I found the timing ironical with ToiletEPK’s release and the OD free certification-If you see the sardonicism in it-fine! If not-so be it.”
After being trolled, Twinkle Khanna again shared her thought on Twitter, she wrote “He can afford to go’drinking with friends’but can’t pay 2use a toilet or buy cup of tea in a place which has one? #GetUrHeadOutOfTheCrapper.”
Apparently Twinkle Khanna is standing her grounds without any apology. The actress bid adieu to her screen life after marriage, now she is a renowned author and movie producer.
Twinkle Khanna’s next as producer is Padman, which stars Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan will appear in a special role.
