The fresh new pairing of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in Sui Dhaaga, has been in news for the longest and now the first look has everyone going gaga over the de-glam look of actors.

In the first look, Anushka sports the simple look and her character is named Mamta. She’s seen wearing a saree, bangles and blushes like any 80s or 90s newly married girl would. Varun Dhawan is carrying off the character of young man Mauji who takes you back to a bygone era with his vintage mustached look.

Sui Dhaaga – Made in India is a heart-warming story that is rooted in the Indian milieu and celebrates the spirit of self-reliance. It calls on the passion of shaping one’s own destiny through the beautifully touching love story between the two central characters played by Varun and Anushka.
The two talented superstars are coming together on-screen for the first time in this tale which is written and directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma.
The film, which was earlier slated to release on Gandhi Jayanti 2018, will now hit theatres on 28th September.
