Vidhu Vinod Chopra was all praises for Sanjay Dutt at the trailer launch of actor’s comeback band wagon Bhoomi.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sanjay Dutt have collaborated for many hit projects, movies like PK, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Mission Kashmir, the filmmaker says he hasn’t met anyone like Junior Dutt.
“All I’ve to say that Sanjay Dutt, I’ve known him for many years, close to 30-40 years, I’ve never met anyone like him, neither I think I’ll ever meet anyone like him, I think a person like him is not possible” says Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani are currently working on biopic based on Sanjay Dutt’s life, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.
The filmmaker also added that he has known Sanjay for many years but ever since the biopic started he came to realize he knew very little about the actor.
“I am sharing it with you; Sanjay Dutt is an exceptional human being. I’ve known him for many years now but I’ve started to know him in reality when Rajkumar Hirani started to narrate me his story. I think no one can understand Sanjay Dutt. I think I haven’t met a man like him” adds Chopra.
The Sanjay Dutt Biopic also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for 30th March 2018.
As for Bhoomi, which is directed by Omung Kumar also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Shekhar Suman in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for on September 22, 2017!
