Manveer Gurjar winner of Big Boss season 10 is debuting in Bollywood with the film titled ‘Aaj Ki Ayodhya’. He interacted with media from sets of his upcoming film and during media interaction, Manveer said that makers of Aaj Ki Ayodhya are not trying to turn the film into political drama.

Aaj Ki Ayodhya the film’s title suggests, the film is about Ram’s Ayodhya and has a Mythological backdrop, when asked about the same he said, “people have been using the city’s name in every way possible, positive, negative, in relation to Ram, building temples and mosques. But they don’t understand that the city and devotion are beyond any religion or cast. I won’t say that the film talks about that but yes you might find some similarities. The Mythological base is used in such a way that you will be able to relate and understand the message we are trying to give.”

He further added, “We are not trying to turn this film into a political drama. The story we are trying to show is about a village who is trying to make its stand and do something for its people. As far as I have read the script there is no connection to the Ram Rajya.”

Manveer also disclosed his character in his debut film is called ‘Rudra’, who moves to a city for a job but is devastated to see his village’s condition when he comes back. In an effort to right the wrong, he tries his best to make things better for the people of this village.

Being a winner of Bigg Boss season 10, when asked Manveer whether he is able to follow this season of Bigg Boss, Manveer said, “I am not able to follow Bigg Boss continuously but whenever I get time, I watch it on VOOT”

Bigg Boss season 11 is coming to its end so when asked Manveer who he wants to win Bigg Boss 11 season Finale, He said, “I want to salute everyone in Bigg Boss who participated in it. I don’t think its commoner versus celebrity scene. Whoever has entered Bigg Boss house is a celebrity. This divide has been created by people who are sitting outside. Contestants like Bandagi (Kalra) or Arshi (khan) is celebrity in their own right but now it’s up to them that how they pursue themselves in future.

As far as last four finalist of Bigg Boss are concerned, I find Vikas (Gupta) very positive. I am rooting for Vikas Gupta. I want Vikas to win Bigg Boss. I feel people should support participants who they admire”

Manveer shared close bond with Bigg Boss host Slaman Khan in season 10 so when asked Manveer whether he will approach Ssalman Khan to promote his film’ Aaj Ki Ayodhya’, Manveer said, “It’s too early to talk about it. Once I met Salman bhai (Khan) after I won Bigg Boss but that time, I didn’t spoke to him about my film. Once movie’s gets completed then I will talk with Bhai (Salman Khan) and if he will have time, then I think he will definitely talk about it but I guess he is really busy in his own work commitments so once release date of my film gets finalized then definitely, I will have a word with Bhai (Salman Khan) about it.”
