Bollywood and south actress Neetu Chandra was spotted at a gym on Tuesday in Mumbai. During media interaction, she said she looks up to actor Akshay Kumar whenever it comes to fitness.
Neetu who is a fitness enthusiast was asked who has inspired her fitness philosophy the most, she said, “I would say Akshay Kumar is my role model because he has been in the film industry from a long time but he hasn’t changed a bit. He is also a martial artist so since beginning, I looked up to Akshay Kumar when it comes to fitness”
Recently, Neetu accepted the “Pad Man Challenge’, talking about promoting the ‘Garam Masala’s costar Akshay Kumar’s film, she said, “Everyone accepted it. It’s a natural thing. I watched Pad Man on the first day itself. I think it is important to promote and watch films of your co-stars especially, I am very proud of the fact that Akshay sir is making lot of films on social issues which generally people don’t support whether is ‘Toliet – Ek Prem Katha or ‘Pad Man’ so, I think it’s a great thing and great initiative”
When asked Neetu how fitness is important in an actor’s life, she said, “Fitness is 100% Important not just in Bollywood but in every industry because fitness is not only to do with physical strength, it’s also about mental strength. It creates a different kind of vibe, positivity in your personality from which you have confidence and strength to present yourself in front of the world so I feel fitness is very necessary for any career and any industry”
Talking about her upcoming projects Neetu said, “I am doing a video for singer Rekha Bhardwaj which we are shooting for in Los Angeles soon. I just did a Rahat Fateh Ali Khan video and whenever I get the opportunity, I like to do a lot of theatre.”
