Working on ‘Satya’ was like going to the best film school in the world: Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap who is making his acting debut in Tamil film, ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal‘ said, working on ‘Satya‘ was like going to the best film school in the world.

The director completed 20 years for his first release, ‘Satya’ on Tuesday and shared a tweet expressing his excitement. He wrote, “20 years back my first film released. And changed my life forever. Being part of it was like going to the best film school in the world.”

He also added, “All that I know I learned on one film and from one man. Thank you @RGVzoomin” Anurag Kaysapy worked on the screenplay of Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Satya’ which completed 20 years on 3rd July.

Replying to Anurag’s tweet, Ram Gopal Verma wrote, “Sir I truly believe great films happen and one can’t make them happen ..You too know that we can only conceive a baby and then the baby takes on its own life. All of us involved should be happy the baby called SATYA grew up to be of great value to all of us who parented it.”

Anurag Kashyap will be seen in ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’ as a psychotic villain who enjoys killing, alongside Nayanthara a cop name Anjali. The film also stars Atharvaa, and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. The Tamil action thriller is directed by ‘Demonte Colony’ fame R. Ajay Gnanamuthu.

Produced by C.J. Jayakumar and Cameo Films the film’s music is composed by HipHop Tamizha.
