Yamla Pagla Deewana Brings Back Father-Sons Duo

Published on

November 20, 2010 : Yamla Pagla Deewana, the upcoming comedy flick starring Dharmendra and his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in lead roles is gearing up to be one of the most awaited films of the following year. And why not, considering that the film brings together the father-sons duo back on the silver screen. The first film which brought the three veteran actors together was Apne which released in 2007. And since then Bollywood producers have apparently not found the perfect story which can feature all three Deols. The wait is over and the next of the Deols’ family outing Yamla Pagla Deewana will hit screens in the month of January next year.

Unlike Apne, which in spite of having its share of fun was an intense drama, Yamla Pagla Deewana is sure to tickle the funny bones of the film’s audience. According to reports in the media, the film will see all three actors at their funniest best. In Yamla Pagla Deewana, Dharmendra plays the father to Sunny and Bobby Deol. Theirs is a Sikh family, the members of which never fail to get involved in a funny incident. In fact, it has also been reported that Bobby Deol’s character in the film, Gajodhar Singh shares a very cordial relationship with his father Dharam Singh, and they are so friendly in their interaction with one another that the son also jokingly abuses his father when he finds certain traits of his character disturbing.

We are sure that the father – sons duo must have had a lovely time bonding over Yamla Pagla Deewana. The audience too will hopefully help them retain the smile on their faces.
