Director Zoya Akhtar just shared a candid picture from the sets of Gully Boy and we must admit that Ranveer Singh is out to puts in his 100% when it comes to his projects.
The actor Ranveer Singh has lost quite a few kilos for his role in the film, which is based on the lives of underground Mumbai rappers and requires certain body type.
Director Zoya Akhtar took to Instagram to share a picture with Ranveer on the sets of her film. She captioned the images as, “Day 10 #gullyboy #happygirl #shooting @ranveersingh @luiscasacubertaabril @arjun_varain Photo Courtesy: @ozajay.”
Gully Boy is inspired by the lives of two rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. The Lootera actor is prepping for his role and taking classes for the same from Rapper Divine. Singh is often snapped at the music studio in the city for the same.
The movie marks the first outing of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, who have done several ads before but never a feature film. Gully Boy is an upcoming musical drama film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
The movie boasts an impressive ensemble which includes Kalki Koechlin, Akanksh Puri, Parmeet Sethi, Ali Asgar, Sudesh Lehri, Nassar, Siddarth Jadhav and Vijay Varma.
