Veteran actor Sulbha Arya (Kantaben of Kal Ho Na Ho) is all set to enter Star One’s Dill Mill Gayye in the coming week. The actress who got famous with her character as Kantaben is all-set to make you laugh on-screen with her humour.
“It’s a cameo of 4-5 episodes for now in the show and I essay the role of Sumalata’s grandmother,†states Sulbha.
Elaborating on the reason for taking up this cameo, she quips, “I’m also doing a major role in Seeta Aur Geeta, but the crew and other cast have gone outdoors for the shoot, so I had time in my hand and this offer came to me.â€
“Once the crew of my show return, I will resume back. For now I have just shot for one episode and had a wonderful time with the cast and crew of DMG. I was very comfortable, as in past somewhere or the other I have worked with them,†she adds.
Sulbha feels blessed to get work in this age too. “At this age I am fortunate to get good work as it makes me feel quite content. For me it’s enough to do one daily as my time doesn’t allow more than this so cameos are fine by me,†she concludes.
So viewers get ready to watch some rib tickling comedy with a pinch of Kantaben in it.
