Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki is going to create history once again for Sahara One on 17th June 2009 – by successfully completing 1000 episodes. The show has managed to glue its audience and wishes to do the same in the coming years.
“I am very happy as we never thought of celebrating 1000 episodes. I have been associated with Who Rehne… from the start and have seen the ups and downs,†says Reena Kapoor, who plays Rani.
When asked of how long this association will go on the actress quips, “I don’t know how long the show will go on. All I can say is that I will be with them till the end.â€
The writers of the show – Shashi Mittal and Sumit Mittal are also going to recreate something unusual. They have lucratively penned down the whole story since last 4 years.
When contacted Shashi Mittal on as to how she feels for this great achievement she stresses “ The feeling is immense, as I think this is the first time in the history of Television Scripting that a pair of writers have been associated with the show from the beginning till date and successfully completed 1000 episodes.â€
Sumit says that “We have been associated with Rajshri productions for the past many years. The show is based on the possible realities; there aren’t any unwanted affairs and doubts. The main lead, Rani is a character which every single human being can associate with. This the reason why we are still the writers of the showâ€
Both of them whole heartedly thank Sooraj Barjatya, for supporting them. They did’nt want a glamorized look which was the pattern being followed by many leading serials when this serial was launched. They wanted to portray the actual nok-jhok which happens in every Indian household. So all this lead to the achievement which they have attained after so many years hard work
