January 6, 2011 : UTV Bindaas is coming up with a unique show titled ‘Love Lock Up’ on January 10 and it will act like a healer for its earlier show ‘Emotional Atyachar’, which exposed many cheaters thus leading to break up.
Now, the channel is planning to give a second chance to some bitter relationships through their latest reality show ‘Love Lock Up’. The show will work as a counselor for the couples, who are struggling to make their relationship work.
Speaking about the show, Nikhil Gandhi, business head of the channel, informed that the new show will include married, engaged as well as unmarried couples, who are facing problems in their relationship and want to make it work with expert help.
The show will have 13 young couples, who will be locked up in a prison like place for six days. They will stay away from home without any phone or television. They will get enough time to talk to each other and settle their issues without being distracted by anyone. A therapist will help them in counseling sessions of the couples, who will also be assigned with some fun tasks that they will perform together. It will help them to know each other better.
Gandhi said that they conducted a survey in seven Indian cities among couples in the age group of 21-28 years. They were in a committed relationship but were unhappy and the main reason was lack of communication between them.
The channel selected total 13 couples after filtering lots of couples who registered for the show. Pravesh Rana, who was earlier seen hosting ‘Emotional Atyachar’ will be hosting ‘Love Lock Up’.
