The company which is overseeing the affairs of the late singer Prince has sought permission from court to sell six of his homes.
The singer died from an overdose in April and he didn’t leave a will.
Bremer Trust had sought permission from a court to sell some of the “Diamonds and pearls” singer’s real estate. A judge has agreed that some can be offloaded, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Judge Kevin Eide gave permission to sell for six of the 15 properties on a list submitted by the company once Prince’s half-brother, Alfred Jackson, tours them.
Most properties are situated in Prince’s hometown Chanhassen, Minnesota, and include houses, vacant lots and a small commercial building estimated to be worth around $44 million.
A 156-acre plot on the shores of Lakes Ann and Lucy has been valued at $13.7 million. The list also includes a property in the Turks and Caicos islands.
