November 26, 2010 : Mandy Moore is visibly excited about her forthcoming Disney release ‘Tangled’. The actress has been roped in to give the voice of the lead character ‘Rapunzel’ in this upcoming Disney adaptation. Sharing her experiences on working in ‘Tangled’, Mandy Moore says that it was an honor for her to be a part of a Disney production on the year of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
And when you remind her of the fact that filming work of ‘Tangled’ took more than a year and a half for completion, she completely brushes off the fact that the cast and crew may have been under a hectic schedule. In fact, Mandy Moore makes it clear that not only was she not overworked, her one and a half year association with the Disney project was like a dream come true for her.
Mandy Moore stresses on the fact that she has grown up watching Disney productions like ‘Lion King’, ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’, so when the opportunity of being a part of a Disney adaptation fell on her lap, the singer – actress could not resist herself from taking it up. Her fans too have a lot of expectations from the animation film and are waiting to hear Mandy Moore as Rapunzel call out to her handsome bandit.
