November 4, 2010 : When it comes to disco dancing, there is only one name that reverberates in our minds. There are no prizes to guess this one, it is one and only Mithun Chakraboty’s name. Mithunda, as he is fondly known as brought a rage in 70s and 80s for disco dancing. Till today, there is not even a single dance show which goes without doing his particular style of dancing. Not only the kids but the adults also go berserk about learning his dance moves. Our TV stars are no spared by this bug, Rashmi Desai is one of them.
While Tappu, as she is fondly known on TV, is crazy for Veer on Colors’ ‘Uttaran’, in reality Rashmi Desai is crazy for the disco dancer star Mithun Chakraborty. A beautiful dancer herself, Rashmi Desai couldn’t concentrate on her steps during the shoot of ‘Dilwalon Ki Diwali’… Reason – Mithunda! Mithunda who was on sets of ‘Dilwalon Ki Diwali’ came, conquered and rest is history! Rashmi who talks nineteen to dozen was rather mum and nervous on sharing the same screen with her favourite Mithunda. While the whole cast of Golmaal 3 was on the sets of Colors show ‘Dilwalon Ki Diwali’ but none could match the enthusiasm and energy to that of Mithunda’s dance! He danced the night away and forced everyone including Rashmi to join in the celebrations!
While Rashmi is still under shock on meeting Mithunda but also happy on receiving her best Deepawali gift! We hope everybody gets lucky as Rashmi Desai got this Diwali.
