Jennifer Aniston talks of ‘karma’ on Brangelina split, says source

“That’s karma for you,” commented actress Jennifer Aniston after news emerged that her former husband Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie are heading for splitsville, a source close to her revealed.

Aniston, who is now happily married to actor Justin Theroux, was earlier married to Pitt from 2000 to 2005. They split as Pitt got romantically involved with Jolie while filming for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2005.

According to an insider, while discussing the news of Brangelina’s split with a long time friend, Aniston said: “Yeah, that’s karma for you!

The source went on to add to usmagazine.com: “She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually. She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy.”

Another source said: “Aniston admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split”. But she also “never wanted this for them or wished this on them”, said another source and added: “Jen does wish Brad luck and the best. She feels like she’s happy, and she wants him to be happy too. Jen does not hold on to any negativity from her marriage to Brad.”

After Pitt left Aniston for Jolie in 2005, the actress took a long time to recover from the split. In August 2015, 10 years after her split from Pitt, she married Theroux.

Pitt and Jolie tied the knot after almost a decade together in August 2014.
