May 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Ameer has signed actor Bharath in the lead role of his next film in which he will also essay one of the lead roles.
Bharath seems to have been doing great now as he is getting lots of offers although almost all his film turning to be big letdowns except Kanden Kadhalai, which is a remake of Jab We Met. Indeed, the distributors and exhibitors have ennobled him as an actor with ‘minimum guarantee’ results at box office.
Bharath has now almost completed shooting for director Perarasu’s Thiruthani, in which he stars along with Sunaina and Raj Kiran. Apart from this film, he has signed three films that will start rolling simultaneously by next month. One of them will be produced by Ameer under the banner of Teamwork Productions. This film will have Bharath and Ameer in lead roles with V.Z. Durai wielding the megaphone.
The other film has been titled as Yuvan Yuvathi, which will be directed by Kumaravelan of Ninaithale Inikkum fame. The other film directed by Mazhai fame Rajkumar, was supposed to take off in May and has been postponed now.
