April 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):In Beyond Dreams’ prime time show, Jamunia, Bali is really tensed nowadays as Naina (Bhakti) refers to him as bhaiyya. Naina, who has been recently introduced in Jamunia plays the role of Kuber’s (Karan Singh) younger sister and is Bali’s (Dakssh Ajit Singh) cousin. And coming to Bali, he plays Gajraj’s (Mohan Joshi) elder son. That’s how the family connection is and hence Naina refers to Bali as bhaiyya on screen, much to Bali’s dislike.
Bhakti is a pretty lady. So, obviously, nobody on the sets likes to be referred as brother by her. Even post the shoot, she keeps on teasing Bali bhaiyya, bhaiyya. He gets really agitated on hearing this. Bali has clearly instructed Bhakti not to call him bhaiyya off screen. But she likes irritating Bali by referring to him as such, probably in all good humour.
Dakssh informs, “We all are like family members. So I prefer everybody calling me with my real name. I have even told Bhakti not to call me bhaiyya off screen. Mind you, there is nothing as such between us.”
We can certainly understand your plight Dakssh. You never know what the future may hold for y’all!
