November 4, 2010 : ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is riding high on TRPs this season but this week’s elimination of Rick Fox left the fans shell-shocked to say the least. Now with the season drawing to a close, some of the finest contestants on the show are going to face the heat of elimination.
Audrina Patridge was voted out last week and this week it was the turn of Rick Fox and his beautiful partner Cheryl Burke to go home. On the other hand, it is a big surprise that despite being a permanent resident at the lowest rung on the scoreboard Bristol Palin continues to hold on to the show week after week.
After his surprise elimination, Rick said that it had been a transformational journey for him. The former Lakers star said that he has reinvented his relationship with girlfriend Eliza Dushku and his two daughters after ‘DWTS’. The Baseball giant admitted that he was really sad about hanging up his dancing shoes.
Neither Rick nor the audience of ‘DWTS’ expected him to leave the competition so early. The former baseball player admitted that he never really visualized going home and wanted to stay in the competition till the end. Rick said that not having to go to the studio to practice his dancing moves for next week was “A hard pill to swallow”.
Meanwhile Rick’s partner Cheryl Burke said that she shared a good relationship with Rick Fox . Cheryl also said that she is going to miss Rick as a friend. However the DWTS audience is quite upset about the recent elimination.
