December 1, 2010 : Darren Criss, the latest addition in the musical ‘Glee’ series, has been so popular within these few days that he has got a celebrity fan in the form of pop star Katy Perry.
Yesterday, the popular guy appeared on MTV’s ‘The Seven’ and performed on Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’. He also performed on his original number ‘Not Alone’. He also spoke a little about ‘Glee’ but he maintained a wise stand on the relationship of Kurt and Blaine going forward. He just said that Blaine has become a strong support system for Kurt and he can confide in him.
Coming to Katy Perry, Criss said that she is one of his many fans and he has met her at the ‘American Music Awards’ this year. He found Katy very sweet and gave her a hug. He used the opportunity to thank her as he owes so much to her.
Criss is also involved with a production company called ‘StarKid Productions’. Under this production house, he is going to launch a new show called ‘StarShip’ in February. However, he cannot be a part of the show because of his commitment to ‘Glee’. Criss is writing the music of this original show, which will be a big romantic sci-fi adventure.
Well, we believe with so much of versatility at this age, Criss will soon have a long list of celebrity fans in the coming days!
