June 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Priyamvada Kant TV viewers remember her as the downtrodden Kanchan of Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai. Dressed in just a shabby dress, no make-up, untidy and long hair! That’s the Priyamvada we know.
After looking at the girl present at the Thoda Hai Thode Ki Zaroorat press conference, journalists were left asking each other if she really is Priyamvada Kant? Blue denims, Sandoz, west coat and curly hair. Onlookers stared in disbelief at Kant, who has never looked so sexy before.
“My look does come as a surprise to all those who’ve seen me in Bayttaab…. Out there, I wore just one garment, had long hair and even begged on the street. Here, I’m playing a young and confident call centre girl who likes to live by her terms,” said Kant.
The 21-year-old is all excited to be part of the Rose Movies show.
“I got my first audition call from Rose Movies. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go as I was busy with my exams then. But I guess it was in my destiny to work with them,” Kant sighed.
Her fans will be disappointed to hear this. But Priyamvada has already found a companion.
“I’ve been seeing the child actor Aditya Kapadia for the past three years. We got introduced to each other through a common friend. We clicked instantly and soon this friendship blossomed into love.”
When asked where’s Kapadia these days and has he really grown up since his Just Mohabbat days, the Bengali lass replied, “Looking at him, you’ll still get the impression that I’m older than him. He still looks like a child. He’s currently taking a break. Hopefully, we should see him soon. Earlier, my busy schedule didn’t allow me to mingle much. However I’ve now shifted closer to his place. So, I bump into him everyday specially in the evenings.”
