Legendary music composer Pyarelal made an appearance on singing reality show “Indian Idol Junior” and mesmerised everyone with his live orchestra performance.
It began with a medley of popular songs composed by Pyarelal. Singer Shreya Ghoshal, who co-judges the show with music composer duo Vishal and Shekhar, joined the four final contestants in singing “Satyam shivam sundaram”, but it was the live orchestra that stole the show.
Pyarelal performed with 45 band members and took the musical quotient of the evening to the next level.
He later revealed that he is a die-hard fan of the show that provides a platform to children between the age group of five to 15 years.
The episode, which will go on air Saturday, will see finalists – Nirvesh Dave, Debanjana Karmarkar, Anmol Jaiswal and Anjana Padmanabhan – showing their talent.
The first season of “Indian Idol Junior” started June 1 on Sony with 11 contestants and the finale is on Sep 1.
