July 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): There’s something about Rahul Mahajan which sees him being chased by the Hindi GECs. Despite his chequered past, Mahajan has emerged as a popular personality on television. Perhaps, the public like his foolishness. And the channel wants to exploit this popularity more.
After making his TV debut with ‘Bigg Boss’, Colors made him a judge on ‘Chhote Miyan’. Mahajan then took the ‘Swayamavar’ route to get him a new wife. It seems like that Colors hasn’t had enough of Mahajan as he’s said to be a contestant on ‘Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi Special Edition’.
A source close to Mahajan says, “I don’t know about others, but Mahajan is said to be certainly in ‘Fear Factor’. A friend of mine has confirmed that Mahajan will be leaving for Brazil soon. He seems to be the favourite of Colors. I wish the channel had extended such largesse to me too”.
Mahajan’s name does surprise, because ‘Fear Factor’ is to feature hunks this time. Forget being a hunk, Mahajan simply doesn’t look fit. However, with Colors reportedly struggling to find appropriate contestants, Mahajan might just bail them out.
