The famous serial traces her journey as ‘laali’, the girl sold by her parents and bought by ‘loha’ thakur to give birth to the heir of the family. She hails from Patna in Bihar and came to Mumbai just to see the place and roam around the city. She was called by a director and had an audition and was immediately selected for the new serial.
The teaser for the show is already on air. It shows the skinny lass, Ratan as a girl in a golden colored bridal lehenga running around. The show’s credibility was slapped when the alliance between Rakhi and Elesh flopped. She later accused him of trying to get physically close to him during another reality show where they featured as a couple. In the second season Bengali model cum actress got hitched to Rahul Mahajan. The marriage, during its initial days ran into trouble but now everything seems to be okay.
