Pracheen Chauhan and Nikkhil Chaddha who are playing the two main leads in Rajan Shahi’s ‘Maat Pitaah Ke Charno Mein Swarg‘ on Colors feel very lucky to get the roles of ‘Shubh’ and ‘Arjun Tripathi’.
They are the face of Colors today, but they were nearly finalized for two hit shows namely ‘Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai‘ and ‘Yeh Ristha Kehlata Hai‘ on Star Plus, which were apparently dropped at the last moment.
If the buzz is to be believed Pracheen Chauhan was finalized to play Angad Hasija’s role in ‘Bidaai‘ and was heartbroken when he didn’t get the role and Nikkhil Chaddha was to play ‘Naitik’s’ role in ‘Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai‘.
They were keen to work with Rajan Shahi who has produced two hit shows and waited patiently and now they are grateful to him as they are playing the lead roles in ‘Swarg‘ with ample scope of performance and feel God’s delays are not denials and opportunity counts.
Had they not got ‘Swarg‘, which is a male centric show, they would have been still looking out for performance-oriented roles in the woman-dominated Television industry.
