The iconic pop music sensation, Madonna, recently revealed an unexpected change to her forthcoming ‘Celebration’ tour schedule. This alteration has been necessitated due to a sudden health crisis that befell the music diva last month, forcing her to reconfigure her originally planned itinerary, according to a report from ‘Variety’.
The North American segment of her worldwide ‘Celebration’ tour, which was poised to commemorate an illustrious four-decade-long career in music, has been postponed to an indefinite future date.
The revamped ‘Celebration’ tour will now kick off on European shores, slated to commence in October. Madonna’s performances are scheduled to start with a much-anticipated show in London on October 14, followed by an expansive journey through numerous European cities over a span of seven weeks.

The musical journey will make a full circle, concluding with two final performances in London on December 5 and 6.
Although the North American leg of the tour was initially scheduled to resume on December 13 in Brooklyn, New York City, the fate of these dates now remains in a state of ambiguity, further added by ‘Variety’.
Expressing her gratitude towards her massive fanbase for their support, the 64-year-old pop icon posted on Instagram, as quoted by ‘Variety’, “Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement.”
Madonna revived with an emergency injection
Madonna has been steadfast in her journey to recovery, immensely grateful for the blessings in her life. She added, “My focus now is on my health and getting stronger, and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can! The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.”
The ‘Celebration’ tour was envisioned as a monumental event, a tribute to Madonna’s glorious 40 years in the music industry. The planned global expedition was set to touch 43 cities across the globe, extending into the early months of the following year.
The tour was initially set to roll out on July 15 in Vancouver, with preparations and rehearsals well underway. However, a spanner was thrown into the works when the superstar fell ill and was rushed to the hospital on June 24.
Madonna suffered from a “serious bacterial infection” that required her to spend several days in an intensive care unit, as disclosed in an Instagram post by her manager, Guy Oseary.
