B-town celebrities to walk for Peace fashion show

Ace Designer Archana Kochhar, who is set to showcase Ahimsa ‘peace silk at Peace Fashion Show, will have TV personalities and Bollywood actors like Ravi Dubey, Abhishek Kapoor, Adaa khan walking for her.

In 2008 on November 26, Mumbai was attacked by terrorists and to commemorate the memory of the victims of the attacks and spreading the message of peace, Kochhar will lead a charity runway show for the Global Peace Initiative, read a statement.

Kochar will be a part of the Make in India campaign.

Other celebrities like Manish Paul, Gautam Gulati, Mr. World Rohit Khandelwal, Aditi Mittal and Devoleena Bhattacharjee will also walk the ramp for her.

“It’s a very noble initiative and I am very proud to be associated with it for the second time. It is events like this where everyone including an institute like Welingkar, designer, celebrities and media come together, which helps in creating awareness about Global Peace,” Kochhar said in a statement.

“We are very happy that we are showcasing our exclusive collection which has been created using Ahimsa Silk also known as Peace Silk. The entire concept of Ahimsa Silk is that it was created without killing a single silk worm. We felt that it was an appropriate platform and initiative to showcase this silk,” she added.
