Charlie Sheen’s former wife hospitalised

Charlie Sheen’s former wife Brooke Mueller is hospitalised after she went missing with her and the actor’s twin children.

In a statement, the Utah Department of Public Safety confirmed that the 39-year-old is now under psychiatric evaluation, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Mueller had run off with her and Sheen’s seven-year-old twin boys Max and Bob. On Tuesday night, she was seen entering a bar with the children and their nanny.

Barefooted and “disheveled”, she reportedly got into altercation with the nanny. Police were called but the group left the scene before the officers arrived.

The next day, the police were again involved after a witness called 911, saying Mueller beat her two children at a car wash. Mueller and the children were eventually found safe in an SUV.

Responding to the incident, Sheen said: “I’m just trying to get my kids home safe. I have no other details that relate to the ongoing event.”

Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol then located Mueller, her boys and their nanny.

“The children are safe and will be released to family. Mueller was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. The State Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the incident. We do not have any more information to release at this time,” the statement read.

Mueller and Sheen got married in 2008 and split two years later. Since then, she has been battling drug abuse and had multiple run-ins with the law.

Three years ago, her children were even removed from her house and were placed in Sheen’s other former wife Denise Richards’s custody.
