Actress Roop Durgapal, who has wrapped up shooting for TV show “Gangaa”, says she is keen to try her hand in the comedy genre.

Roop was seen as Supriya in the &TV show.

“It was nice working with a jolly team in ‘Gangaa’. I was well-acquainted with the production team which was same on ‘Balika Vadhu’. The show that made me who I am today is ‘Balika Vadhu’, without any doubt,” Roop said in a statement.

“I would be more keen on doing a comedy show next as I am very funny in real life and keep entertaining my family,” she added.

Roop, who has also appeared in shows like “Akbar Birbal”, “Swaragini” and “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”, says she is also open to reality shows.

“The best part about reality shows is that they make you a well known name. So I won’t say that I don’t want to do reality, but I would prefer if it’s something which adds to my profile like a singing or dance reality show,” she said.
