Actress Shalini Kapoor Sagar, who has portrayed different shades of characters in popular shows like “Kkusum”, “Saat Phere”, “Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev”, “Qubool Hai” and “Swaragini”, says she is currently enjoying family time after doing back to back shows.
“I have been working back to back, so had purposely taken this time off to be with my family. I shall start considering new projects now, but will only take up women centric shows,” Shalini said in a statement.
Shalini, who is married to actor Rohit Sagar, has a six-year-old daughter named Aadyya with him.
“I am emotionally very dependent on Rohit despite being so strong. He has enveloped me with his love and is my strength. He treats me and protects me like a child and I behave like his ‘boyfriend’. We literally talk like man to man when needed,” she said.
“I wish all parents should dissolve gender demarcation,” she concluded.

Actress Kritika Kamra, who will play the title role in upcoming TV show “Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta”, says since childhood she always wanted to become and live like a princess.
“Since my childhood, I have always wanted to live and become a princess and today I have been able to do this for myself,” Kritika said in a statement.
The Life OK show is an adaptation of Devaki Nandan Khatri’s novel “Chandrakanta”, but this time from a different perspective.
The actress says dreams don’t work unless you take action.
“Today for me the excitement of dreams coming true is beyond the description of words. ‘Chandrakanta’ is the quintessence of beauty and I feel privileged to essay this epitome of beauty,” she added.

Shaleen Bhanot visits Golden Temple for ‘Sher-E-Punjab…’
Actor Shaleen Bhanot, who will be seen playing one of the lead roles in the historical periodic drama “Sher-E-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh” visited Golden temple to seek blessings for his show.
Shaleen will be seen playing the role of Mahaa Singh in the Life OK show, who is Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s father.
“As I am playing the role of a Sardar for the first time, I decided to visit the Golden Temple to seek blessings of Baba ji for the show. The entire cast is extremely religious and feels a special connect to the show so I bought Khada Prasad for everyone and for myself,” Shaleen said in a statement.
The actor says he also bought a Kada, which he will wear throughout the show, on-screen and offscreen.
“As it will be my lucky mascot,” he added.
