“Annabelle” director John Leonettis next “Wish Upon” will be releasing in India on January 12.
Carnival Motion Pictures is bringing the film to India, read a statement.
“Wish Upon” narrates the story of a teenaged girl who finds a magic box that grants wishes but kills someone close to her each time. The film stars Joey King, who also played a pivotal role in “The Conjuring”, Ki Hong Lee, Sydney Park, Elisabeth Rohm and Ryan Phillippe.
The script was written by Barbara Marshall.
Before helming the 2014 horror hit “Annabelle”, Leonetti served as director of photography on “Insidious” and “Insidious: Chapter 2”. He also helmed the horror film “The Wolves at the Door”.
