Atsu Sekhose to celebrate a decade in fashion industry with new line

Designer Atsu Sekhose will celebrate the completion of a decade in fashion industry with his latest Fall-Winter cocktail collection 2017.

Khan Market’s new concept store Civil House here will kick off a soiree to celebrate a decade of designer’s eponymous label, said a statement.

The founder of Civil House Suwbha Chopra along with the designer will commemorate the milestone at the store in New Delhi with a display of signature pieces from the brand across the years, and will unveil his Fall-Winter 2017 cocktail collection.

“Civil House is a fashion forward platform for existing and emerging talent. I’ve always loved Atsu’s distinct style, which shines in his eclectic couture and ready-to-wear line. It is an honour to celebrate his dynamic contribution to the Indian fashion industry and the glamorous cocktail collection,” Chopra said.

The designer is known for his chic, understated clothing that firmly holds his signature style and modern reimagining of classic silhouettes. He has also attributed much of his design style to his roots in Nagaland, imbibing a modern adaptation of tribal patterns, colours and textiles from his native region.
